Una mujer sana sin estar en estado de gestaci\u00f3n suele consumir entre 1800kcal y 2000kcal dependiendo de su actividad f\u00edsica y su ritmo de vida. Los \u00a0un estudios a este respecto demuestran que una mujer en estado de gestaci\u00f3n debe consumir unas 2500kcal para mantener un estado saludable para ella y su futuro hijo, \u201cestudios recientes han demostrado que un embarazo a t\u00e9rmino requiere 2500 kcal (104 600 kJ). Esto significa un requerimiento energ\u00e9tico adicional de s\u00f3lo 90 kcal (376 kJ) por d\u00eda. La mujer embarazada no necesita \u00abcomer por dos\u00bb<\/u>,<\/strong> solo necesita comer lo suficiente para que su hijo en el \u00fatero tenga un crecimiento normal y ella pueda defenderlo de cualquier infecci\u00f3n asociada al embarazo.\u201d (1)<\/em><\/p>\n

Como se puede ver, es incorrecto por tanto pensar que debemos comer por dos, pero si necesitamos un peque\u00f1o aumento en los requerimientos. Todo esto, por supuesto, hablando de un embarazo normal en el que n haya enfermedades o en el que no queramos subir o bajar de peso.<\/p>\n

Algo muy importante que como mam\u00e1s y pap\u00e1s debemos saber y tener en cuenta es que todo lo que comamos ser\u00e1 transmitido al beb\u00e9. Por eso es importante esforzarse por llevar una alimentaci\u00f3n muy sana, en el que incluyamos todos los grupos alimenticios (hablamos de comida, no de productos alimenticios), \u201clas relaciones entre la dieta y las complicaciones del embarazo indican que puede haber algunos beneficios de\u00a0los\u00a0factores\u00a0nutricionales\u00a0para prevenir tales trastornos\u201d (2)<\/em>. Existe un gran desconocimiento sobre los alimentos que deben incluirse durante esta etapa, que proporcione los nutrientes necesarios para la vida saludable del gestante y de la madre.
